The General Session of the Seyochung Area Students’ Union was held today at Seyochung Village, Kiphire with R Tsapikiu Sangtam, President, Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) as the Special Guest.

Under the theme Ara Yang Thaliba (Back to the Roots), the general session will begin from January 4 till 8.

“Development can take place only where there is peace,” said Sangtam. Encouraging the students, Sangtam reminded about the growing world and its global outlook, and advised the students to pursue quality education and excel in every aspect of life. Extending his appreciation to Seyochung Area People for cooperating in many ways, the ENPO President said he looked forward to doing so in the days ahead too.

During the session, Sangtam also assured that the fight for the common cause was near and the achievement for Eastern Nagaland (FNT) will soon come to reality.
