The Annual Sports Meet of Oriental College came to an end on 4 November.
Various indoor and outdoor games were organised at the college campus on the final day of the three-day sports.
The competitions featured were carrom, basketball, table tennis, badminton, arm wrestling and chess.
A Valedictory Programme at the college campus followed the sport events in which the Guest of Honour was Mhasimhalie Matthew Yhome, president of the Kohima District Football Association.
Yhome, an alumnus of Oriental College, congratulated the college for its achievement and successful completion of the Annual Sports Meet 2022.

He further challenged the students to be self-independent and follow their passion, excelling in the field they are good at. He also advised the students to abstain from substance abuse and to lead a healthy life.
The programme was chaired by Medosanuo Khezhie, Assistant General Secretary, OCKSU. A special number was presented by Chongti Longz after which the prize distribution took place. The vote of thanks was delivered by Tumben, Assistant Professor, Department of History, and the benediction by Limanaro, Assistant Professor,Department of English.
White House bagged the title of the overall Champion of Oriental College Annual Sports Meet.
