Oriental College Kohima celebrated their 28th Annual Parting Social on April 30 with Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, Principal Director, NECTAR, Director, Minority Affairs.
Addressing the students at the college’s parting social, Pratap Singh expressed confidence that the institution had met the expectations of its students throughout their academic journey. As the outgoing batch prepares to step into the next phase of life, he urged them to work harder, noting that challenges would only grow tougher. “Now that you are graduating, it is time to become responsible citizens and take on greater responsibilities,” he added, encouraging them to move forward with dedication and integrity.

The programme was chaired by Mhabeni Kikon, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Economics. Invocation was was pronounced by Ketouneinuo Khro, Chaplain,OCK. Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. Khriereizhünuo Dzüvichü, Principal, OCK. A special performance was witnessed from Ashish and friends from BA 2 Semester and speech on behalf of outgoing students was delivered by Nehachi Marak. Vote of thanks was expressed by Dr. Kevizakielie Suokhrie, VP Academics, OCK.
