Oriental College Kohima hosts medical camp for students

Oriental College Kohima successfully organized a medical camp for students in association with Primary Health Center, Seikhazou today.  Dr. Bilva Yalie, Medical Officer i/c UPHC Seikhazou gave a talk on substance abuse. She emphasised that substance abuse hinders full mental development in an individual.

On physical level, it can lead to serious health issues like cancer, ulcers, respiratory problems & affects sexual organs. She urged the students to understand that there is no shame in seeking help and encouraged them to reach out for support whenever needed.

Following the talk, a comprehensive medical check-up was conducted, which included medical consultations, HIV testing, blood pressure and weight assessments, blood grouping, and dental examinations.

The consultation doctors were Dr. Bilva Yalie and Dr. Kidiphrunuo Shuya.
