Orientation meeting of Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan held in Zunheboto

Orientation meeting of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, an initiative under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs (MoTA), Government of India, was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Zunheboto on August 12.

The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Dharam Raj, IAS. The Deputy Commissioner, in his opening remark welcomed the line departments for their prompt participation and briefly apprised the house that Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a transformative initiative by MoTA aimed at empowering grassroots governance, that will drive inclusive development and strengthen last-mile service delivery in tribal areas, real time grievance redressal and ensuring systematic implementation across all stakeholder levels.

He also emphasized the need for localized, context-specified solution support by inter-department convergence in designing responsive, inclusive tribal policies. He also stressed that the programme also integrate Civil Society Organisation (CSOs) to strengthen participatory learning and local contextualization, in this line the nominated NGO, Green club, Zunheboto was insinuated to take up timely and transformative intervention when their roles and responsibilities are assigned.

All the members present participated in the meeting and discussed that further directive from the MoTA will be intimated to all the department through the Nodal officer, Zunheboto. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks from the chair.
