An Orientation Programme for Nari Adalat members under Jakhama Sub-Division was held on January 23 at the DB Court, SDO (C) Office, Jakhama, Kohima. The programme was organized by the District Administration in collaboration with SANKALP – District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Kohima, under the Social Welfare Department.

Kevisetolie, DEO for PMMVY, DHEW Kohima, chaired the programme, while the keynote address was delivered by Vilopi Sakhrie, BDO Jakhama. Kesoneinuo, Gender Specialist, DHEW Kohima presented the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on Nari Adalat. Sessions on PMMVY and BBBP were conducted by Vidilhounuo Solo, Specialist in Financial Literacy, DHEW Kohima. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Nochenu Thepru.
