The OST Centre, District Hospital, Tuensang, under the aegis of the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society, NACO, organised OST (Opioid Substitution Therapy) Demand Generation cum Induction Camp on 28th and 29th August 2024 at Saksi NAP, Tuensang.

Six new clients were inducted at the event and clinical follow up of 13 clients was conducted successfullu at IDS OST Satellite Centre, Saksi.

Dr Senilo Magh, DH Tuensang, highlighted that clients were unable to come to OST centre at the District Hospital for induction due to logistics challenges. Therefore, the event was organised in an attempt to increase coverage of services and impacting one life at a time.

The camp also emphasised the necessity for capacity building among the people by the State AIDS control.
