In supersession to the Personnel and Administrative Reforms (P & AR) Department’s Notification of even number dated 21.03.2023, and on public interest, the Urban Development Department is re-designated as the Nodal Department for all the matters relating to the implementation of The Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 including all the activities relating to the Safai Karamcharis/Sanitary & Insanitary Workers.
