Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) celebrated its 49th Foundation Day at the Bundrock Chapel cum Auditorium in the campus in Chumoukedima on Monday. Dr Kevingulie Khro, Board of Trustees and Treasurer of PCC as the guest speaker.
Dr Khro, in his speech, acknowledged everyone who have helped in shaping the college. He expressed his gratitude to the donor villages Chumoukedima and Seithekema and the Principal Emeritus Rev. Tuisem A Shishak. He reminisced of olden times when Patkai Christian College (A) first started in the year 1974 and said that he felt great honour and joy that the college is among the top colleges in Nagaland.

Dr Khro also encouraged all the students to believe, focus diligently in oneself and respect the elders and teachers.
The program was chaired by Neilevono Vüpru; celebration started with college anthem ‘Shine on, O Patkai’; welcome note delivered by Thepfuvilie Pierü, Principal, Patkai Christian College; prayer of blessings and unveiling of Golden Jubilee logo by Rev Tuisem A Shishak, Principal Emeritus; special music from MSSM; Gift to Donor villages by Rev. W. Pongsing, Chairman of BOT.
The semester toppers were felicitated at the event.
