PBCC Nhicuko Krotho General session and music festival culminates

The 7th General session cum music fest of the Pesocha Baptist Church Council (PBCC) Nhicuko Krotho (Children Ministry) culminated at Seiyhama village under Kohima district on January 14.

The three-day long conference was hosted by Seiyhama Baptist Church (SBC) under the theme “Rejoice in the Lord always,” (Philippians 4:4) with 2102 delegates representing various churches attended the programme.

On Sunday morning service, Neikiesieü Tsira, Pastor Toulazouma Baptist Church was the speaker of the service and exhorted the children to have fellowship in Christ. Tsira underscored the need to develop love first from home as shown by Jesus Christ to love and care for one another.

Highlighting that it is vital to train and practice good deeds, she also urged the Sunday school children to be disciplined, hardworking in their studies and pay back for the good works provided by their parents. Observing the ever changing dynamics of the world in modernity with advancement of science and technology, the speaker asked the children to control the gadgets and use it wisely for good.

Tsira stated that life without Christ is miserable and exhorted the children to lead a Godly life and be regular in Churches and read the Word of God and encourage one another.

Furthermore, she pointed out that the end times are near and highlighted the various turns of events happening around she told the Children to accept Him as their Lord and personal saviour and prepare to meet him.

The programme was led by Khrieketouzo Haralu, President, PBNK, while Rev. Rüdilhou Rio, Pastor Botsa Baptist Church pronounced the invocation prayer. Ngusanyü Mezhier, Superintendent Rüsoma BNK read out a scripture and Hetuo Khrodi, Traveling Pastor

Pesocha Baptist Church Council delivered the offertory prayer. Choral pieces were presented by Chiephobozou BNK and Seiyhama BNK along with a song from Chedema BNK. Other speakers for the programmes were Azonuo Ciesotsu, Director, ABNK; Pastor Zakiebeituo, President ABNK and Vilhoubeilie Peseyie, Vice-president ABNK.

 

During the services, the praise and worship were led by Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), and on January 13 (Saturday) evening, a talent show was held.

During the three-day event, competitions were conducted, of which the results are:

Second: Meriema BNK

• Choreography

First: Seiyhama BNK

Second: Nerhema BNK

• Double quarter singing competition

First Nagabazar BNK

Second : Chedema BNK

• Choir competition

First: Chiechama Basa BNK

Second: Chiechama BNK

• Highest numbers of campers

First: Seiyhama Baptist Church
