PDFL: Barak FA blank NASA; NZSA, Native Feathers, Puiteing FC register wins

Peren: Barak FA defeated NASA 6-0; NZSA defeated Prime FC 3-1; Native Feathers beat Benreu FC 5-2; Puiteing FC upset Lekie Mtei FC 4-2

Barak FA, Northern Zeme Sports Association (NZSA), Native Feathers and Puiteing FC have registered their wins in the respective matches at the ongoing first Peren District Football League (PDFL) organized by Peren District Football Association (PDFA) at Jalukie ‘B’ village ground on Friday.

Barak FA vs Nsong Area Sports Association (NASA)

Playing the first match of the day, Barak FA blanked Nsong Area Sports Association (NASA) 6-0. The first goal came from the boot of Barak captain Kenumdi at the 13th minute of the game. Namduanbou doubled the score at the 26th minute, while Khamjai scored at the 66th and 69th minute. The fifth goal was scored by Irabeubo at the 72nd minute and the last goal from Barak FA came again from the team captain Kenumdi at the 89th minute which was enough to seal the deal.

NASA went on to fight back and tried to attack but the mighty Barak FA didn’t give way.

Northern Zeme Sports Association (NZSA) vs Prime FC

In the second match, Northern Zeme Sports Association (NZSA) defeated Prime FC 3-1. The first goal for NZSA came through the boots of Ziepwa at the 16th minute, while the second and third goal was scored by Ilungrai.

Lamginmang of Prime FC scored a lone goal for the team. Despite their efforts and several attacks, Prime FC failed to comeback for the equalize and had to concede a defeat.

Native Feathers vs Benreu FC

In the third match, Native Feathers beat Benreu FC 5-2.

Benreu FC has a mountain to climb as they have not registered a single win in the league.

The first goal for Native Feathers was scored by Lungmedau at the 13th minute, which was doubled by Keyigogong at the 30th minute. Samlamgumlung of Benreu FC came back scoring a goal for BFC at the 38th minute. However, after some minutes, Khiuwangbo of Native Feathers converted from the spot kick. The second goal for Benreu FC came again at the 51st minute from Kethozhapu. However, Keyigogong and Khangkinwi of Native Feathers added a goal each at the 70th and 81st minute respectively.

Puiteing FC vs Lekie Mtei FC

In the fourth match, Puiteing FC upset Lekie Mtei FC 4-2.

Although the rains acted as spoil-sport in the fourth match, Puiteing FC managed to clinch a victory and maintain their winning streak in the tournament. The team currently stands at the top of the league points table.

Puiteing FC opened its account at the 11 minute of the game which came through Paolenngam and doubled by Kawililakbou at the 13th minute.

After the breather, Lekie Mtei came stronger and scored their first goal taking a beautiful long shot by Haileuyibe Iranggau. The equalizer came from Hainsiugongbe of Lekie Mtei FC who converted it from a spot kick.

The captain of Puiteng FC Jangminlen came back adding a goal for the team at the 62nd minute while the 4th goal came from Paolenngam at the 90+2 minute of the match.
