Pension Adalat cum Medical Camp was organized by Office of Joint Controller of Communication Accounts for pensioners of Department of Telecommunications, Northeast-II Telecom Circle at Hotel Saramati on 6th September 2023.
The objective of the Adalat was to redress the grievances of pensioners related to disbursement of pension, transfer of pension, issuance of identity card and other grievances submitted by the pensioners. Grievances from pensioners of Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh were received online beforehand. Several grievances were also received at the venue.

All efforts were made for spot settlement of grievances. The Adalat was also attended by representatives from the All India BSNL DoT Pensioners Association, NE-II Circle.
The Pension Adalat was presided by K Sajal (Joint Controller), SK Baidya (Deputy Controller) and SK Samanta (Accounts Officer).
It is to be mentioned that the Office of Jt. CCA, NE-II takes care of pensionary benefits of retired DoT employees in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Manipur. Number of pensioners in this region is more than 400. The Office ensures timely payment of pension via in-house developed application SAMPANN.
Speaking on the occasion, Jt. CCA K Sajal assured pensioners of every possible help. The Office of Jt. CCA, NE-II also has a pensioner’s lounge at its Dimapur situated Office and toll free helpline number to cater to the needs of Pensioners.
A medical camp for the attendees was also conducted after the conclusion of the Pension Adalat by a medical team headed by Dr Moamenla Singson, District Hospital, Dimapur.
