The Peren District Administration, in collaboration with various department heads and security officers, held a meeting on August 3, 2023, at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall in Peren. The meeting, chaired by SDO (Civil) Kelevituo Nisa NCS, focused on planning and assigning tasks for the upcoming Independence Day celebrations in the district.

Key decisions made during the meeting included organizing a Mass Social Work in the district headquarters on August 11th, commencing at 9:00 AM. Additionally, visitation programs to children’s homes, the District Hospital, Sub-Jail, and Red Cross were scheduled, with specific departments assigned to each responsibility. To create a festive atmosphere, entertainment activities and stalls were planned to add positivity to the district’s celebrations.
