The monthly meeting of the Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Peren on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar, who is also the vice-chairman of Peren DPDB, DIPR informed.

After the review of the previous meeting minutes, the house deliberated on the proposal for upgradation of GPS New Jalukie to GMS. The house after hearing the report given by the ADC Jalukie, agreed to forward the proposal to the government for necessary action.

With regard to report submission of 75th Anniversary celebration of Peren Town as highlighted by the ADC Peren, the members decided to submit the report to the government through the District Planning & Development Board.

PowerPoint presentations on the departmental activities and programmes were presented by Soil & Water Conservation Department and Labour Department.

The Deputy Commissioner in his concluding remarks requested the District Planning Officer to direct the officers verifying the society for registration and members of the society to attend the DPDB meeting without fail.

During the meeting, news members of the Peren DPDB, SP Peren, Manish Bhartiya, IPS; EE PWD (R&B), Er. K. Hetoi Sema, and Sr. SDEO Peren, Aheto Chophy were introduced.
