Peren Government College (PGC), held its 35th annual games and sports meet from 16 to 18th March at Peletkei village football ground on the theme “The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory”.

The students were divided into groups of four houses each – Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Clubs.

In the group-level competition, Hearts emerged as the overall champion, while Kenzeu and Rangzaibeule of 6th Semester bagged the championship for the year 2023.

The programme was chaired by Chetrailube Ndang, Assistant GS PGCSU, and invocation by Keyipeiraile, PGC EU Prayer Secretary.

The torch lighting was done by Rangzaibeule and the exhortation was delivered by Albert, Vice Principal PGC, where he encouraged the students to give their best not only in studies but also in other co-curricular activities like sports.

The event witnessed games liken like football, badminton, volleyball, obstacle race, rally race, etc.
