The Pfutsero Town Colony Chairman Union and Pfutsero Town GB Union has strongly condemned the abduction of a non local construction worker on April 22 and the ransom of Rs. 5 lakh demanded by the four suspects associated with a Naga political group.
“The Pfutsero town colony chairman union and Pfutsero Town GB union is shocked and angered by the criminal act carried out by the supects under its jurisdiction. The suspects are not residents of Pfutsero town but are just criminals from outside Pfutsero jurisdiction bringing bad image to Pfutsero Town and the district of Phek,” stated the Unions.
The unions strongly condemn the ‘uncivilized individuals who have a mind to hurt anyone for their own benefits’. The statement also asserted that such individuals have no place in a society and demand the highest possible punishment as per the law.

The Pfutsero town colony chairman union and Pfutsero Town GB union strongly warned that such illegal activities in the future will not be tolerated and will be severely dealt with.
The unions also appreciated the professional operation carried out by the Kohima and Phek police in saving lives and booking the two suspects on April 23.
