Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has informed the public within Kohima municipal jurisdiction that water supply is disrupted due to mainline breakage near LG Showroom at D Block, water supply will be temporarily disrupted on the subsequent days ahead in the affected areas. The areas impacted include: Phoolbari, Midland, D Block, New Market, Naga Bazar, Kitsubozou, Kezekie, Themezie, L Khel, Krouliezou, Bayavü, High School, and Secretariat Area.

In a statement, PHED Kohima urban division SDO, Er. Ahito K Awomi, stated that the department was actively working for necessary redressal at the earliest. In this connection, residents in affected areas have been urged to bear with the temporary inconvenience, as the department assures that all possible measures are being taken to complete repairs as soon as possible.
