An ambitious stride towards effecting change transpired as the District Administration of Phek joined forces with the SDG Coordination Centre (SDGCC) from the Planning & Transformation Department. According to DIPR, this collaborative initiative aimed to orchestrate a pivotal consultation session for crafting the SDG District Roadmaps of Phek. The venerated occasion unfolded within the confines of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Conference Hall in Phek.

Underscoring the profound resonance of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in addressing a spectrum of global challenges – ranging from hunger to health disparities, and climate change – Deputy Commissioner Phek, Kumar Ramnikant IAS, graced the gathering with his insightful address. His fervent call to action resonated through the corridors of the consultation room, urging officers to muster their proactive engagement. The core objective? To collectively ascend towards the realization of the 17 overarching goals, meticulously underpinned by 167 associated targets encapsulated within the framework of the Nagaland SDG Vision 2030.

The day’s proceedings embarked on a technical journey, buoyed by the illuminating presentations delivered by M&E Officer Khriketou Sohou and SDG Officer Phybemo Lotha. At the helm of the workshop’s orchestration was the deft chairmanship of District Planning Officer Phek, Tesinle Kent.
