District Level Committee for Water and Sanitation Mission, for implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in respect of Phek District held a meeting at DC’s Conference Hall, Phek on March 18 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, NCS.

Executive Engineer (PHED), Narisen Jami addressing the meeting, gave an overview of the preparation plan for Jal Mahotsav 2026. He also highlighted the Core objective and Vision of the initiative.

The meeting then reviewed the ongoing activities under the scheme in the district.

The members also decided to form the District Technical Unit and Formation of Source Sustenance Committee.
