An Orientation Programme was organised by Phek Government College for the first Semester students today at Deo Nukhu Hall. The Media Cell of PGC informed that the programme was chaired by Dr. Zhokusheyi Rhakho, Assistant Professor, invocation was pronounced by Seyielenuo Nisa, Asst Professor, and the welcome address was delivered by Principal Dr. T. Tiakaba Jamir.

A brief talk was given by Vevolu Khamo, Assistant Professor, Department of Education on the Norms and Regulation of the institution. Neiwe Mero and Dr. H. Atoholi Sema presented brief outline to the New Education Policy and syllabus structure for B.A and B.Sc. programmes.

Introduction to various existing clubs, cells and committees like NCC, NSS, Red Cross, Red Ribbon, Literary & Performing Arts, Skill Development Club, Science Club and Mentoring were also highlighted upon to the students.

The programme was attended by faculty members and the first Semester students.
