Reaffirming its commitment to the Chenmoho Resolution, the Phom Peoples’ Council (PPC) has directed all the Phom apex tribal bodies to follow the given directives for strict compliance:
- That all the intending candidates shall not file their nomination papers and shall abstain from participation in this forthcoming ULBs election.
- Political parties/ Candidates are strictly prohibited from conducting election campaign or canvassing within the ward jurisdiction.
- All respective wards both from Longleng and Tamlu are vested with the authority and responsibility to enforce these directives rigorously within their respective wards.

- In the event of not adhering to the said directives by any member/Candidate/Political Parties shall be held responsible for betraying the Eastern Nagaland Public Movement.
Any individual or groups going against this directives shall be doing so at his/her own risk and shall be fully responsible for any untoward incident that may arise in regard to forthcoming ULBs election, stated the PPC.
