Farewell program in honour of Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, R Ramakrishnan, IAS was held at Doulhou Garden, Billy Graham Road, Kohima on 27 February 2025.

Deputy CM, Planning & National Highway, TR Zeliang speaking at the program said that Ramakrishnan’s unwavering commitment, dedication and ability to navigate complex challenges were instrumental in setting many of the policies and initiatives that have transformed the state.

Zeliang reflected on his extraordinary contribution toward the state during his tenure and added that he was not just an officer, but a strategist, a problem solver and a relentless advocate for the good government.

Zeliang remarked that his dedication towards public service has been unparalleled and tireless service towards the state and the public will cherish forever.

Retiring Addl. Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, R Ramakrishnan, IAS delivering his farewell speech mentioned that his career achievements were made possible because of the support rendered by department officers and staff. He also wished the best for the department and urged all to continue working for the development of the state.

Short speeches were also delivered by the Secretary of Planning & Transport Department, P Nungsangwapang Jamir, JDC Vilhouhunuo Sachu, Rtd. Additional Development Commissioner, Nlumo Murry and Project Director GIS, Er. Mhathung Kithan.
