Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief at the demise of Angh of Sangsa village, Langto Konyak, who was the father of Minister, P Paiwang Konyak.

In a condolence message to Paiwang Konyak, the Prime Minister stated that a father is the strongest pillar of support in a child’s life and his presence instills a deep sense of protection, giving strength and courage to face life’s challenges with confidence.

Modi said that Langto upheld the rich tradition and heritage of the people and his contribution in education, social service, the tea industry and social transformation would be remembered with deep respect in Nagaland.

The Prime Minister conveyed heartfelt condolences to Paiwang Konyak and prayed that God grants strength and fortitude to endure this grievous loss.
