All India Radio in Mon and Tuensang districts in Nagaland will get 91 100W FM Transmitter on Friday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurates them virtually from his residence at New Delhi.
The transmitter will be operating on FM frequency 100.1 MHz and will bring to the people a bouquet of various programmes of entertainment and education on the Radio, Prasar Bharati informed. The 100W Transmitter is expected to be heard in around 400 Sq. km area and benefiting thousands of listeners in the town and nearby villages, it added.
Phangnon Konyak, Nagaland’s Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) will also join virtually as PM Modi inaugurates the FM transmitters.
