Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on his 73th Birthday on Saturday. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi wished the longest serving CM of Nagaland “a long and healthy life”.

“Best wishes to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Shri @Neiphiu_Rio Ji on his birthday. He has always worked for the development of Nagaland. May he lead a long and healthy life,” Modi wrote.

Rio also received birthday wishes from Union Home Minister Amit Shah who posted, “Your relentless efforts to realize Modi Ji’s vision have unfolded a new chapter of peace and progress in Nagaland. May you always remain blessed with good health to keep serving the nation.”

Among those who conveyed their birthday greetings to Nagaland’s CM were Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari, Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda, Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh and MoS MDoNER BL Verma.

Deputy chief ministers TR Zeliang and Yanthungo Patton too sent warm wishes on the special occasion.
