PM – Vishwakarma Scheme Launch Program of Skilling Component was held at DPDB hall, Kiphire on Wednesday, DIPR has informed.
In his welcome address, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, DIC – PM Vishwakarma, Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer highlighted some program components like skill development, access to finance, technology adoption, marketing linkages, etc. that are all aimed at fostering innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in all round development. He also expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his love to the people of Kiphire District in Nagaland. Further, the DC urged to give the best during the training.
Short speeches were delivered by Joint Director, Employment & Skill Development, Kohima Alongse Sangtam and SEC PM-VKS, Pravin Yadav. This was followed by distribution of PM – VKS ID Cards to the beneficiaries. Vote of thanks was delivered by EAC, Kiphire Takatemjen Pongen and the program was chaired by Sukanya ABF, Kiphire.
