Police Commemoration Day was observed on Saturday at SP Office Phek in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner Phek and the Superintendent of Police Phek.

All the security agencies of district participated and laid wreath as tribute to the martyrs who died in line of duty.

DC Phek, Kuko Mero acknowledged and paid homage to the police martyrs for their sacrifices. He also encourages all the security agencies to do their duty with dedication.

SP Phek Dr Pritpal Kaur, IPS, spoke on the significance of the day and its historical reasons. She motivated all the security agencies to make society peaceful and safe in coordination with people.

Names of all the martyrs were read by ASP DEF Phek, Bendang Jamir.

Parade was commanded by Khuzoso, DEF Phek.

Phek Police, 12IRb, NGOs, Phek town Forum, college students, Fire services, SIB, SB and other department participated in the program.
