The Porütso Khel of Jakhama has issued a clarification informing that it has specified any period/year of the ostracization with regard to the grandmother, aunties of Lt. Vihozhonu Zao as mentioned in some media reports.

It maintained that “no period can be pronounced until proven guilty”.

The clarification Issued by Advisor Khulvi Lothü and Chairman Vizade Zao, further appealed to be cautious in the usage of the surname “Zao” as there is no traditional adoption from the khel.

It demanded the highest and most severe form of punishment-capital punishment’- to the accused and deliver justice as early as possible.
