The celebration of “Poshan Maah 2023,” an annual event observed from 1st-30th September, took place on Tuesday at the ADC Conference Hall in Aboi, Mon, DIPR informed. Phuleshe K Yepthomi, NCS, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Aboi, graced the occasion.

During the event, Phuleshe K Yepthomi commended the efforts of the Department of Social Welfare in implementing activities and programs for children and the elderly within the Aboi sub-division. He urged the department, particularly the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), to continue their valuable work in this regard. He also encouraged the gathering and villagers to familiarize themselves with the objectives of the Poshan Maah program.

The program was conducted under the supervision of Ngappon Konyak W, Supervisor of ICDS (Integrated Child Development Services) in Aboi. The invocation of God’s presence was performed by H. Anang, Associate Pastor of Women KBCA (Konyak Baptist Church, Aboi).

Limasangla, CDPO of Aboi, provided insights into the objectives of the Poshan Abhiyan program. Additionally, Pangkai, Convenor of Aboi Town, delivered a short speech on behalf of the nine wards in the area.

The vote of thanks was delivered by L. Belong Konyak, Supervisor of ICDS in Aboi, concluding the Poshan Maah 2023 annual event.
