The Executive Engineer, Transmission Division of the Department of Power has informed all concerned that  the “220 kV S/C New Kohima-Mokokchung Transmission Line” passing through the jurisdictions of the following undermentioned villages and towns shall be test charged at the rated voltage at 11:00 A.M on February 12, and shall remain charged thereafter:

Therefore, all the public are informed not to touch the said Transmission line nor go near the same for safety purposes. Anybody doing so shall be doing at their own risk and the Department of Power shall not be held responsible for any untoward incident whatsoever, stated the notification.

The Department also informed that the test charge has the approval and clearance of the Chief Electrical Inspector Nagaland conveyed vide NO. CEI/Insptn-4/2024-25/T/180 dated 31.01.2025.
