The department of power has informed that the 11/0.4 kV, 500 KVA transformer at Daklane, Kohima has been damaged on September 26 at 1 AM due to which, power supply to several localities have been affected.

A press release from the executive engineer Electrical Division Kohima, Shiludi Longkumer stated that power supply to Daklane, parts of Naga Bazaar and parts of New Market in the state capital is affected.

The official informed that the department is making all possible arrangements to take stock of the situation, and requested all consumers in the affected areas to kindly bear with the inconvenience as all efforts are being made for timely replacement of the damaged transformer at the earliest.
