In another breakthrough, Kohima Police has apprehended Vitoulu Domeh (35), the prime accused in the October 31 armed robbery at SBI Chedema Branch.
“Following a relentless and intensive manhunt operation, the sustained pressure applied by the Kohima Police left the suspect with no escape route, compelling him to surrender at the North Police Station,” mentioned the Kohima Police in an update.

The accused, who had terrorized bank staff using a pistol and a body-worn explosive device, was identified and pursued based on credible intelligence and public support. The police noted that Domeh’s surrender is a direct result of the unwavering resolve of the Kohima Police to bring perpetrators to justice.
“The investigation is ongoing to uncover all facets of this case. We extend our gratitude to the public and the media for their crucial cooperation. This sends a clear message: Kohima is a no-go zone for crime,” it added.
