Union Minister of State for Finance, Pankaj Chaudhary, has informed that the request for staff appointment in NABARD to cover all districts of Nagaland has been taken up with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
The Minister was responding to a letter dated August 19, 2025, from Lok Sabha MP S. Supongmeren Jamir addressed to the Union Finance Minister.
In his response, the MoS stated that NABARD has informed the Ministry that the Nagaland Regional Office in Dimapur currently operates through four District Development Manager (DDM) offices located in Kohima, Mokokchung, Phek, and Kiphire. These offices directly manage four districts and oversee eight additional tagged districts — Longleng, Tuensang, Zunheboto, Tseminyu, Wokha, Meluri, Noklak, and Shamator.
The remaining five districts — Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Niuland, Mon, and Peren — are managed by dedicated officers posted at the Regional Office.
