The monthly Pughoboto Sub-divisional Planning Development Board (SDPDB) meeting was held on Thursday at DB Hall, ADC Office Pughoboto, DIPR stated.

At the meeting, MLA and Chairman Dr Sukhato A. Sema stressed the need for inclusive development, youth empowerment, plantation drive, and quality education. Later, he also mentioned that proposal would be sent to the Roads and Bridge Department to repair the road from Lazami junction to Pughoboto town.

The Board discussed seeking permission from the School Education to run the Little Blossom School. It was also agreed to send a proposal to Home Commissioner for seeking Licensing Authority for small arms within the Pughoboto sub-division.

Further, discussions were held for setting up the office of National Informatic Centre (NIC) in Pughoboto Town and for proper implementation of the Local Area Development Fund.
