The Pughoboto Sub-Divisional Planning and Development Board meeting for November was held on 7 November at DB hall, Additional Deputy Commissioner office Pughoboto under the chairmanship of MLA & Chairman DPDB, Pughoboto, Y Vikheho Swu.

During the meeting, Chairman Vikheho Swu, shared that the subdivision of Pughoboto is envisioned to provide the most congenial working environment for Government servants and the public.

The office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pughoboto would be shifted to the new building along with the subdivision office of industries, PWD (R&D), IPR, YRS and NRE Department which are located in the same hub.

He added that the main purpose for constructing the office within an area was considering the need to provide better service for the people

Swu further said the Sub-division Pughoboto is also visualized to be a social hub and shared that the park in the complex shall provide space and facilities for outdoor meetings.

In due course the complex shall also promote and develop healthy outlets like a Futsal field, gymnasium, jamming centre music, gaming center interspersed with eateries, and retail outlets through private investors and entrepreneurs shortly.

He informed that the board members have discussed and agreed to rename Mini Civil Secretariat at Mishilmi as Sub Divisional Office Blocks.

Project Director NRE Imliakum appraised the members that the construction of the solar plant was completed. He informed that though the Installation of the solar plant was commissioned in November 2018, the Overall charge to date is managed by the NRE Chairman SDPDB.
