The Ministry of Railways has informed that it has so far generated a revenue of Rs 66.83 Lakh through the disposal of scrap from its offices across India as part of the Special Campaign 3.0. The Ministry has set a target of 10,722 Cleanliness Campaign to be conducted till 31st October 2023 during which special focus was given to scrap disposal in offices and workplace and the target for freeing space of 3,18504 sq. feet.
In a press release, the Railways further informed that it had already conducted over 5,297 cleanliness campaigns till 13th October, resolved over 1.02 lakh public grievances and freed up of 397619 sq. feet of space while also generating approximately Rs. 66.83 lakh revenue.

Further, more than 51,954 files have been reviewed for the purpose of recording and weeding, the Railways Ministry added.
The Special Campaign 3.0 has been taken up in its Zonal Head Quarters, Divisional Offices, Production Units, RDSO, Training Institutes, Public Sector Undertakings and more than 7000 Stations.
