Nagaland Athletics invites all enthusiasts to participate in the Nagaland Senior Open Athletics Championships 2023 which will be held on 16 and 17 November 2023 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

Nagaland Athletics will also be conducting an Athletic Federation of India (AFI) registration drive during the event. AFI registration is mandatory for all athletes in order to participate in competition organised under AFI, it informed while urging athletes in the state to register themselves in the AFI website.

Nagaland Senior Open Athletics Championships 2023 is open to any indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland to showcase their athletic prowess. List of events for Nagaland Senior Open Athletics Championships 2023 includes long jump (100M), high jump (200M), triple jump (400M), shot put (800M), discus (1500M), and javelin (5000M) for both men and women category.

The last date for registration is 6th November 2023. Registrations will be online via Google form with a nominal fee of Rs. 100/- per event. An athlete can participate in not more than two events.

Only Aadhar card will be accepted as the valid document for registration, Nagaland Athletics informed.
