Revenant FC emerged as the champions of the 35+ Mokokchung Football League (MFL) Season 6, which concluded on October 4, 2025, at Rempukong Astro Turf, Ungma. This marks the team’s sixth consecutive championship title.

The league, Initiated in 2022 with the motto “Fitness, Friendship, and Fellowship,” featured six teams—Revenant FC, New Ecclesia, Wasang FC, Terokroker FC, Trebuchet FC, and Nova SC—competing in a total of 75 matches. New Ecclesia finished as the runners-up. Matches were played from April 12 to October 4, 2025.

Arennungsang from Revenant FC finished as the highest scorer of the season, netting an impressive 30 goals. One player from each match of the season was recognized as the Man of the Match, with gift hampers sponsored by Sentiyanger, a member of the 35+ MFL management team and owner of Revenant FC.

In an announcement, the 35+ MFL committee revealed that a new tournament, the 35+ MFL Super Cup, will soon be introduced for the six participating teams. The teams will be divided into two pools, with the top two from each pool qualifying for the Super Cup. The tournament will begin on October 11, 2025, and the final match is scheduled for November 8, 2025.

The season will conclude with a grand closing and award ceremony on November 9, 2025. Further details of the event will be announced later.

The 35+ MFL Is a self-funded initiative comprising individuals from varied backgrounds, including government officials, businessmen, politicians, and pastors, united by their shared passion for fitness, friendship, and fellowship through football.
