Kohima: CM wishes festival will strengthen bonds of unity and brotherhood

As the Ao community celebrate their premier festival, Moatsü from Wednesday, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy Chief Ministers TR Zeliang and Yanthungo Patton have extended their greetings.

In a message posted on X, CM Neiphiu Rio wished the community “a very happy Moatsü; a festival that marks the end of the sowing season”. He also wished that the festival “strengthen the bonds of unity and brotherhood, and also bring blessings of a bountiful harvest”.

TR Zeliang, in his message, hoped that the festival brings “prosperity, new strength and positivity.”  As you invoke the Almighty God’s blessings, may It be abundant upon each one all through the year, he added.

Extending warmest greetings, Y Patton stated that Moatsü is “not only a celebration of the season’s harvest but also an expression of the community’s rich cultural heritage”. May the festival strengthen bonds and foster happiness & prosperity among all, he added.
