The culprit also destroyed the CCTV cameras installed at the bank however, the hard disk was retrieved by the police.

As per the CCTV footage, the culprit is seen fully masked and attempting to break the vault. It is learnt that the bank had around Rupees one crore in the vault.

Although, the CCTV footage shows only one person, Aye said it is too early to conclude that there was only one person adding that, the culprit must have been familiar with the bank.

The team is examining the CCTV footage retrieved from the bank and from the vicinity, said Aye.

Aye, also urged the business establishments to install CCTV cameras in their shops as it helps the police in their investigation.
