The second tranche of Rozgar Mela was held today at Assam Rifles Training Centre & School, 3 Mile, Dimapur as part of the pan India campaign.
The Rozgar Mela was held as a virtual event across 45 locations simultaneously.
The appointment letters were handed to selected individuals by Rameshwar Teli, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas. Teli is also the Minister of State for Labour and Employment.
From Nagaland, 197 individuals were selected this part as part of the Rozgar Mela initiative out of which 123 candidates were selected to join the Assam Rifles, 35 were selected to join the CISF, 17 were selected to join the BSF, 9 for the SSB and 3 for the ITBP while 10 candidates were selected as professors in NIT. This list also includes 23 women who will be joining the Assam Rifles in Riflewomen category.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the appointees across the nation virtually before launching the Mission Karmayogi. More than 71,000 appointment letters were distributed all across the nation in the second tranche.
The Prime Minister mentioned that the ultimate aim of the event is to generate 10 lakh jobs by December 2023 and that all efforts were resolute to achieve it.

Mission Karmayogi, is a national programme for civil services capacity building and entails skill development and transition from ‘rule based’ to ‘role based’ HR management by government servants.
