Rozgar Mela in Dimapur on July 12

As a part of the Government of India’s employment initiative, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will organize Rozgar Mela in Dimapur on July 12 at 10.30 a.m. Apart from Dimapur, Rozgar Mela will also be organized at Guwahati and Siliguri on the same day.

These Rozgar Melas spearheaded by the Ministry of Railways in collaboration with other Central Ministries, aim to distribute appointment letters to newly recruited candidates selected for various Central Government posts. This initiative is a vital step toward empowering the youth and strengthening public service through large-scale job creation.

Within the NFR zone, a total of 625 appointment letters will be handed over to candidates selected for various posts across Government departments.

In Dimapur, the event would be held at Town Hall, where Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju would be present.

The event in Guwahati would be held at “Rang Bhawan”, NF Railway Headquarters, Maligaon and would be graced by Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal.

Mela will take place at VIP Officers’ Rest House, Kashmir Colony, New Jalpaiguri, in the presence o, Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Ajay Tamta.

Across the country, 47 Rozgar Mela venues have been finalized for simultaneous events, covering a wide geographical range from urban metros to smaller regional centers.

The NFR said it remains committed to contributing meaningfully to national development by fostering youth employment and supporting inclusive growth through such initiatives.
