Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Education, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh distributed appointment letters to 134 new recruits from Nagaland on Monday at the Assam Rifles Training Center and School, Shokhuvi during the 8th Tranche of Rozgar Mela.
In his address, the Union Minister said that the Central Government and co-operating State Governments targets to distribute one million appointment letters in mission mode through various tranche of Rozgar Melas.
Dr Ranjan Singh said in last nine years, under the guidance and vision of the Prime Minister, the government has prioritized that the government recruitment processes be faster, transparent and unbiased. He also said that the introduction of regional languages in SSC exams for various posts is leading to increased participation of youth for government jobs.

The Union Minister maintained that PM Modi’s initiatives have led to the initiation of deep rooted reforms to increase efficiency of government servants, for those already employed and those who will be joining the government services.
The Rozgar Mela was held at 45 locations across the country on Monday.
From Nagaland state, appointment letters were handed over to 134 new recruits- 84 from Assam Rifles, 24 from Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 21 from Border Security Force (BSF), 5 from Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB) and 2 from Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
Earlier during the Rozgar Mela, PM Modi distributed over 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits today via video conferencing.
