The Red Ribbon Club of Oriental College Kohima organised a Poster Painting Competition on August 26 under the theme “Be Informed, Be Aware! My Health, My Right!”.
The event was organised as part of the nation-wide two month long intensified IEC campaign to enhance and intensify awareness of HIV and STI among the general population, as per the directive of the NACO.

Altogether 20 students participated in the competition. The judges for the competition were Keneisenuo Kuotsu from the English department and Mesanuo Miachie-o from the department of Political Science.

The first prize was bagged by Lendongrenla Jamir of BA 5th semester, second prize was won by Bemang of B Com 1st semester and the third prize was awarded to Neihunuo Puro of BA 3rd semester.

Certificates were given to all the participants, while cash prizes were awarded to the winners by the college principal Dr. Watinaro Longkumer.
