Rengma Selo Zi (RSZ) and Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) conducted a goodwill visit to Tsogin EAC Headquarter, Tseminyu District as part of “Reach Out Mission” to travellers taking the alternative road connecting Dimapur to Kohima.
In a press release, the organisations highlighted that EAC Hq. Tsogin, Tseminyu Headquarter is one of the oldest administrative headquarters in Nagaland which has been neglected ever since its establishment.
Kegwayhun Tep, President, RSZ and Hiyalo, General Secretary, RSZ also expressed their discontent over the neglect of the alternative road connecting Dimapur and state capital Kohima vie Niuland-Tsogin-10 IR BN Zhadima by the state Government. They stressed on the need for the Government to pay attention to the most important alternative route connecting the state capital from Nagaland commercial hub.
The RSZ and RSU has therefore called upon the government to consider the importance of developing this road on priority and to ensure construction of an all weather motorable road for the convenience and welfare of the citizens.
