The 15th Southern Anagmi-II Assembly Constituency BJP Mandal, under the initiative of the local MLA and Advisor for Prisons and Printing & Stationery, Kropol Vitsu conducted a ‘Trekking cum Cleanliness Drive’ in Dzükou valley on Saturday.

In a brief address, Kohima District BJP Secretary Vipiho Rhetso said that Dzükou valley is a God gifted picturesque land for the people of Southern Angami and the Nagas in general. He also said that as concerned citizens of the area, the BJP 15th Southern Angami-II initiated the drive to create awareness on healthy living and also to preserve and conserve the rich biodiversity.

Over a hundred party leaders and functionaries joined in picking the wastes to and fro the route to the magnificent valley.

Earlier, the 15-SA-II BJP mandal president Pusato Zecho chaired the kick-off programme at Thanaki, Viswema while Kehothul Hibo offered prayers.
