Sainik School, Punglwa in Nagaland today held an event to welcome two of their cadets who were commissioned as officers. Flight Lieutenant Obed Newmai has been commissioned into Indian Air Force and Lieutenant Hinoto Kakishe Yepthomi, commissioned to Indian Army. According to a press release issued by the PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh, Lieutenants Newmai and Yepthomi are the first two distinguished Naga alumni and valiant officers.
In a riveting display commitment, Flight Lieutenant Newmai and Lieutenant Yepthomi delivered inspirational lectures to the young cadets, exhorting them to embrace the call of duty and consider a noble career in the Armed Forces. Their poignant narrative traversed the corridors of time, recounting their formative years at Sainik School Punglwa and the indelible lessons learned therein, informed the press release.
