Sanctity of cultural and traditional practices more supreme and sacred than any other means of adoption as prescribed by law: APO endorses NSF’s call for exclusive indigenous representation for ULB polls

Endorsing the Naga Students’ Federation call for exclusive Nagaland Naga indigenous representation in the ensuing ULB electoral contest, the Angami Public Organisation has directed the same to its  respective frontal organizations for strict compliance and implementation.

The APO has directed Its frontal organizations- Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO), Northern Angami Public Organisation (NAPO), Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) and Western Angami Public Organisation (WAPO)  to identify any such antecedent in their respective jurisdiction where ULB is effective. The APO has also appealed its organisations  to “strongly prevail upon him/her to withdraw/refrain from contesting the election in order to preserve and protect the sanctity of our cultural and traditional practices which we consider more supreme and sacred than that of any other means of adoption as prescribed by law”.

The frontal organisation has been advised to coordinate with its frontal youth wings and students’ bodies in this regard.
