The Directorate of Technical Education, Nagaland has informed that the registration for the State Technical Scholarship for ST students awarded by the Government of Nagaland for the session 2024- 2025 will be open from 20th September 2024 till 30th November 2024.

This scholarship scheme is to provide financial support to the Schedule Tribes students in the form of book grant to those pursuing their studies in technical courses under All India Council of Technical Education recognised institutions.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidate should be pursuing Diploma/ Degree/Masters course in Engineering Institutes recognized by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)&Council of Architecture (COA).
2. Candidate should be studying currently in the AICTE/COA approved institutions in regular mode.
3. Candidate should not be recipient of any of the Central Govt./State Govt/AICTE sponsored scholarships. One student is entitled for one scholarship only.
4. Parent income from all sources should not be more than eight (8) lakhs per annum during the current financial year.

The Department has informed all Students belonging to Schedule Tribes of Nagaland pursuing (Diploma/Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Engineering Institutes (both fresh and renewal) within India, recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Council of Architecture to complete online registration for the scholarship by 30th November 2024, through the Common Scholarship Portal (www.Scholarship.nagaland.gov.in.)
