The Government Middle School, Aradhura, Leirie Chazou, Kohima in collaboration with the 12th Battalion NDRF conducted a School Safety Program on 15th October 2024. The program was led by Inspector, Vikhodi Rhetso, Team Commander NDRF, Thizama of 12th BN NDRF Itanagar,

The Head Teacher, Thejangulie Kirha, in his welcome address, expressed gratitude to the NDRF Team for organizing the School Safety Program and stated that not just the students alone but also the teachers would immensely benefit from the programme.

Team Commander, Vikhodi Rhetso highlighted the purpose of the program and urged the students to actively learn and remember the safety measures, as remembering and implementing it at the right time can save lives.

The NDRF Team demonstrated activities covering Earthquake Safety Measures (Do’s and Don’ts), How to Apply CPR, FBAO, Bandaging & Dressing, How to Control Bleeding, How to Move or Lift Patients during Emergencies etc.
